Shoulder Season

From SmarterTravel

Jump to: navigation, search

Shoulder season refers to the time period in between peak/high season and low/off season. Tourism is at middle-of-the-road levels: less than the crowds during peak periods, but more than when visitation drops off during low/off season. In many destinations, spring and fall are considered shoulder seasons.
